Nation urged not to forget flood victims on Eid

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Dr Firdous Aashiq Awan has greeted the nation on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha and urged it not to forget the flood affected people, the poor and destitute and share their joys with them.

In a message issued here on Sunday, Dr Firdous said that the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha brings happiness of Hajj, religious obligation of sacrifice and Hujja-tul-Wida.

Dr Firdous said, 'Thousands of our brothers and sisters are suffering due to floods in Sindh and we should remember this affected community and extend every possible help".

She appealed to the nation to pray for the progress, prosperity and stability in the country, enabling it to cope with challenges. (APP)
