SHARJAH: Sri Lanka set Pakistan a target of 255 runs to win the third and final Test after declaring their second innings at 181-6 on the fifth and final day at Sharjah stadium here on Monday.

No play was possible in the pre-lunch session due to rain. Sri Lanka batted for 3.2 overs after resuming the day at 164-5.

Pakistan were needed to get the target in 61 overs.

Pakistan lead the three-Test series 1-0 on account of winning the second Test by nine wickets in Dubai. The first Test in Abu Dhabi ended in a draw.
