Majority of doctors, teachers not performing duties

PESHAWAR: Fata Secretariat has revealed that majority of government officials in tribal areas were not performing their duties, Geo News reported.

Majority of doctors and teachers don’t come office in the tribal areas, the secretariat disclosed.

In a letter, Fata secretariat has stated that appointments had been completed from grade 1 to 15 in health and education departments of tribal areas, adding that 151 male and 149 female lecturers, 21 dental surgeons and 85 male and female medical officers had also been appointed.

Despite this, there thin attendance in the schools and hospitals, it added.
