Electricity prices to increase

ISLAMABAD: According to officials of the Water and Power Ministry, the decision to raise electricity prices by four percent has been taken, Geo News reported.

Ministry officials said that on the directives of the Prime Minister, the approval to raise electricity prices was obtained by the Parliament’s energy committee.

According to the decision prices will be raised by 17 to 25 paisas.
