Hollywood star Jennifer Garner is teaming up with the First Lady of the United States, Dr. Jill Biden to promote the American Rescue Plan that aims to address child poverty.
Being a vocal supporter of the Biden-Harris campaign, the Yes Day star will be joining Dr. Biden for the ‘Help is Here’ tour to Alabama on Friday.
The tour to Alabama is part of the several outreach efforts made by the Biden administration’s top surrogates to promote the American Rescue Plan which has also been supported by the president as well as Vice President Kamala Harris and their respective spouses.
The actor will be visiting the Jasper Area Family Service Center in Jasper, Alabama with the first lady and will also drop by at the YWCA of Central Alabama in Birmingham, Alabama to publicize how the $1.9 trillion package will tackle childhood poverty and also enhance the federal child tax credit for a year.
