KARACHI: The intensity of heat may increase in Karachi starting tomorrow (Thursday), says the Pakistan Meteorological Department.
The PMD Karachi Director Sardar Sarfaraz said the temperature likely to be 4°C to 6°C higher than usual.
In March, the normal average temperature has been 32.4°C so far, the Met director said, adding that temperatures are likely to rise to 36°C to 38°C.

The wind direction will change due to the departure of the Western system, he said.
Dry and hot winds will blow from northwest in Karachi, the Met official confirmed, predicting that after March 30, temperatures could reach 39°C.
There will be a possibility of heat waves too, Sarfaraz said.
