10 hotel owners sent to jail for overcharging

PESHAWAR: Special Magistrate, Habibullah Arif on Friday booked 10 hotel owners from various parts of the city for overcharging and sent them to jail.

On the directives of DCO Siraj Ahmed Khan, the Magistrate paid snap visits to city areas including Gulbahar, Haji Camp and General Bus Stand and arrested 10 hotel owners for charging extra money from customers and sent them to jail for 30 days term.

On this occasion, Habibullah said the drive against profiteers will continue in the entire district and strict action will be taken against exploiters. (APP)
