Durrani says he was not aware of the memo

ISLAMABAD: General (retired) Mahmud Ali Durrani has denied information pertaining to him in the Mansoor Ijaz memo, Geo News reported.

“I was not aware of the memo, nor was I consulted when it was written” Durrani said.

Durrani added that the information about him in the memo was absurd.

Ijaz alleges that Durrani’s name was included in the list for the new national security team being prepared with the full backing of the civilian government and was also part of the idea of the memo.
