Citizens asked to use sui gas wisely

ISLAMABAD: Sui Southern Gas Company Limited (SSGC) has requested its consumers to use gas wisely and do not waste it.

Talking to APP on Monday an official of the SSGC said that citizen should report any unauthorized use or theft of gas and company would take action against those people according to law.

He said a complaint cell has been set up for the consumers to address their problems as soon as possible with toll-free number 1199. He said consumers should use gas carefully and save their money and save it for the use of tomorrow.

He said "We have already taken innovative measures to facilitate its consumers and the management would continue taking such steps in future also."

He said consumers should always use good quality gas home appliances and fittings that conform the standard laid down by Pakistan Standard and Quality Authority.

He said some small steps by the consumers could help saving the gas like switching off stoves when it is not in use and switching off geyser if people don't use it in 24 hours or more. (APP)
