MULTAN: A two-week long campaign for protection of women's rights will be launched here from November 25, to mark the international day for elimination of violence against women.

The campaign was being launched by women's rights association South Asia partnership Pakistan and Oxfam, advocate Nafees Ansari and Shaista Bokhari told newsmen on Tuesday.

The campaign will conclude on December 10, the international day for human rights, they added.

Women rights association will take welfare initiatives for women during the 16-day campaign and would also hold programmes for women at Darul Aman, women jail, and police lines. (APP)
