Sindh Social Welfare Council Bank suggested

KARACHI: Sindh Minister for Social Welfare Nargis N D Khan has sought suggestions for setting up the Sindh Social Welfare Council Bank to further boost welfare activities in the province.

She was presiding over the 41st meeting of Sindh Social Welfare Council. She said the required amendments in the constitution of the council should be forwarded so that to run it on modern lines.

She said efforts were being made to free the lands of Sindh social welfare department from illegal encroachments and use it for genuine social welfare activities.

Meanwhile, the Minister set up a seven-member committee to formulate suggestions for the proposed Sindh Social Welfare Council Bank.-PPI
