24 outlaws held with liquor, drugs, guns

RAWALPINDI: Police, in a move to eliminate anti-social elements, Wednesday announced to arrest 24 outlaws and recovered 98 bottles liquor, drugs and illegal weapons.

Police, conducting special raids against drug peddlers and other criminals, recovered 2745 grams charras, 98 bottles liquor, 04 pistols 30 bore with 07 bullets, one pistol 32 bore with three bullets, 175 rounds of 12 bore gun while police also recovered cash Rs 15,444 with one mobile phone from a gabbling den.

A stolen Honda car bearing registration number AQP-1333 was also recovered from a person namely accused Rashid Mahmood.

Separate cases have been registered in the respective police stations against the accused while further investigations are underway, says a press release issued here. (APP)
