RAWALPINDI: The 11th Convocation of the Fatima Jinnah Women University (FJWU) was held on Wednesday at the Jinnah Convention Center Islamabad to commemorate the academic accomplishments of its students.
Students were awarded gold and Silver medals for their outstanding achievements in their academic career.
Chancellor, Fatima Jinnah Women University Governor Punjab, Sardar Muhammad Latif Khosa was chief guest on the occasion who conferred degrees to 1023 students of Masters and undergraduate programmes.
He also addressed the gathering and called upon the students to abreast with the latest scientific knowledge and know-how to meet
the future challenges. He lauded the University's achievements in academic and extra-curricula activities.
Sardar Muhammad Latif Khosa along with the Vice Chancellor, FJWU, Prof. Dr. Samina Amin Qadir awarded 30 Gold and 29 Silver medals
to various students from each department to acknowledge their outstanding performance. (APP)
