Passenger bus looted in Karachi

KARACHI: Armed dacoits looted commuters of a local route passenger bus near Teen Hatti, Geo News reported.

The dacoits deprived the commuters of cell phones, cash and other valuables.

Police, while taking action, have arrested the bus driver on suspicion and interrogated him.

Meanwhile, Sindh Home Minister Mazoor Wassan taking notice of the street crimes in the city, has said that police have been warned and given free hand to control street crimes, adding action would be taken against SHO, SP or SSP of the area.

He was of view that condition would improve within few days.

Manzoor Wassan further said target killing and extortion are under control.
