Ten killed, several injured in road accident

RAJANPUR: Ten people were killed and several injured when a passenger van collided with a truck on Indus Highway here on Saturday.

Police said a rashly driven bus was going to Karachi from Dera Ghazi Khan when it collided with a parked truck on the Indus Highway near Shahwali. Ten passengers died on the spot while several received injuries.

The police and Rescue 1122 officials reached the site of accident and shifted the injured to DHQ Hospital Rajanpur and Tehsil Headquarters Hospital Rohjan while some with critical injuries were referred to hospitals in Multan. (APP)
