Key Swat Taliban commander held

NOWSHERA: A key Taliban leader has been arrested by the law enforcement agencies during a search operation in District Nowshera, Geo News reported Tuesday.

According to police, Commander Toofan, leader of Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) Swat chapter has been arrested along with an aide. The police have also recovered important documents, laptop and huge amount of cash from his possession.

He was wanted in target killings of security personnel and other heinous crimes. The arrested militants have been shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigations.
