FAISALABAD: All CNG Stations will observe three-day gas closure here from Thursday (December 01) morning.

According to a spokesman of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL), there is a severe shortage of gas which is being faced by the country.

To overcome the gas shortfall, the SNGPL had evolved a load management schedule for CNG Stations for two days in a week but when the shortage of gas became more severe, the gas company extended the gas closure schedule for CNG stations up to three days in a week.

Under this schedule, all CNG Stations of Faisalabad will observe gas suspension from 6 a.m. on December 1 (Thursday) while it would be restored at 6 a.m. on December 4 (Sunday).

The CNG Stations' owners should avoid from supplying gas to vehicles during closure days. Otherwise, they would be handed down with heavy fines besides taking legal action against them in addition for detachment of their gas connection in case of violation, the spokesman warned. (APP)
