Twin baby boys swapped with baby girls

PESHAWAR: A local resident has claimed that her sister gave birth to twin boys but the Lady Reading Hospital labour-room management swapped the baby boys with baby girls, Geo News reported.

Hamid Khan, a resident of Peshawar told media that he was informed that he had become maternal uncle of twin baby boys, but when he came to the labour room the baby boys turned into baby girls.

He also alleged that his sister saw her twin two sons herself and they were changed after someone switched off the gynae ward’s lights.

Geo News learnt that ultrasounds performed prior to the birth confirmed the woman was pregnant with two male babies.

Hospital MS has arrived to investigate into the claims of the family.

Talking to Geo News, hospital MS rejected any such possibility.
