KARACHI: Inspector General of Sindh Police, Mushtaq Ahmed Shah has directed the police to devise a comprehensive plan to ensure foolproof security on the occasion of Soyem of Hazrat Imam Hussain (R.A).

He directed to perform snap checking, active patrolling by police van and motorcycle riders at the mourning processions and majalis which would be organised on the Soyem of Imam Hussain (R.A), said a statement.

He also directed to take concrete and comprehensive measures for intelligence reports sharing.

Mushtaq Shah said that all Station House Officers (SHOs), are supposed to register their entries and positions and availability in their respective areas via wireless.

A spokesman of Sindh Police advised the people to keep a close watch on miscreants in their respective areas and immediately inform `Madadgar 15', in case they spotted any suspicious vehicle, bag, parcel, motorcycle or suspicious activities of any person. (APP)
