Three POs among nine outlaws arrested

PESHAWAR: In a crackdown against anti-social elements, police on Wednesday arrested nine outlaws including three proclaimed offenders from rural parts of the district and recovered lethal weapons and narcotics from their possession.

SSP Rural, Abdul Kalam told that rural police during its ongoing campaign against anti-social elements conducted raids at suspected places in Urmar, Daudzai, Chamkani, Badhber, Nasir Bagh and Matani areas and arrested nine outlaws including proclaimed offenders.

Police also succeeded in arresting six drug peddlers and recovered 800 grams hashish from them.

He added that crackdown in rural areas of the district against outlaws will continue till their total elimination. (APP)
