Protest against rustication of SU students, bus torched

HYDERABAD: A group of students pelted the buses of Sindh University with stones and set on fire a bus near Jamshoro on Tuesday to protest against the rustication of 18 troublemaking students and lodging police case against 21 for creating law and order problem in the campus.

Unknown miscreants opened heavy aerial firing in Qasimabad and pelted point buses of Sindh University. They set alight one bus near Rajputana Hospital. Police conducted raids and arrested two accused from Lal Shahbaz Hostel.

Police and Rangers were summoned to control protesting students at the campus.
