RAWALPINDI: Additional District and Session Judge (ADSJ) Tariq Chaudhry on Wednesday cancelled the pre-arrest bail of 13 policemen
in Kutchehry firing case in which four people were killed.

The court granted bail to Sub-inspector Ashgar.

Two inspectors and an ASI were also booked in the firing case.

Three gunmen opened fire at Chaudhry Shaukat, his brother and nephew who had been brought to the court for a hearing in November.

The police claimed to have arrested three suspects and said that the motive behind the incident was old enmity. One accused is still at large.

Meanwhile, District Bar President Malik Jawad Khalid while talking to media persons, said that the incident occurred due to poor security arrangements in the district court premises.

He demanded installation of CCTV cameras and walk-through gates for
proper checking of the litigants. (APP)
