Excise Dept to crack down on defaulters

MULTAN: The Excise and Taxation department on Wednesday issued final notices to its 200 defaulters and decided to crackdown against them.

The defaulters have been warned that their properties will be sealed if they failed to deposit overdues within stipulated period of three days.

According to E&T department sources, the officers and inspectors of the department have been directed to launch crackdown against those people who defaulted arrears of the department for last five years.

Director Excise, Khalid Sadiq directed the officials concerned to take action without any discrimination. (APP)
