FAISALABAD: As many as nine persons, including a woman sustained injuries in different road accidents in and around the city here on Wednesday.

According to Rescue 1122, Khawar and Sofia of Chak No.119-JB were going on a motorbike when a speeding tractor trolley near FDA City on Sargodha Road hit them. They received serious injuries and were shifted to DHQ hospital.

In second accident, a tractor trolley collided with a motorcycle on Sargodha Roadby By-pass. As a result, motorbike riders Uzma, Bushra and Naveed sustained injuries. All the injured were rushed to Allied Hospital.

In another road mishap, a motorcycle rider teenager Farhan and his father Mushtaq resident of Noorpura got injuries when a speeding car knocked them down near D-Ground, Peoples Colony.

Meanwhile, a Mazda van hit two pedestrians Nadeem and Asif of Shams Abad near Sanat Singh railway crossing. Both received minor injuries and were discharged after first aid. (APP)
