LAHORE: Pakistan Railways (PR) has terminated its branchline train services across the country despite having been replenished with 4-days worth of fuel supplies amid trade union protests, Geo News reported.

Pakistan State Oil (PSO) even in the face of a bounced cheque piped one million liters of diesel into Pakistan Railways storage tanks, but the national train operator suspended all its branchline services in a surprise move.

On the other hand workers are determined to protest till the approval a bailout package worth Rs11 billion for Pakistan Railways.
