KARACHI: Sindh Home Minister Mansoor Wassan Friday rejected reports that he had held a meeting with Mohajir Qaumi Movement leader Afaq Ahmed, Geo News reported.

He told newsmen outside Sindh Assembly that his side esteemed the orders of honourable court, adding consultation would decide their next line of action.

He denied Afaq’s imprisonment had anything to do with Muttahida Qaumi Movement pressure.

“We are not dancing to their (Muttahida’s) tunes. We know what are we doing,” said he.

Afaq is a Pakistani national and freedom was his birth right, but it was for the court of law to decide, Wassan added.
