Robbers kill minor boy, injure father

HYDERABAD: Robbers killed a 12-year old child and injured his father upon resistance during a dacoity at a scrap dealer shop in Liaquat Colony area here on Thursday.

However, one of the 3 robbers was grabbed by the neighbours as they tried to escape after taking away Rs150,000 from the shop.

The incident took place in the jurisdiction of Sakhi Pir police station.

The deceased Hamad, who was shot in the chest, succumbed at the Civil Hospital while his father was hit in his left leg.

The police have not revealed the identity of the suspect and FIR of the incident has not been registered so far.

According to SHO Sakhi Pir police station, police is making raids to arrest the two other robbers who had fled away after the incident.
