Cash, jewelry looted from a house

FAISALABAD: Unidentified dacoits have looted cash, golden jewelry and other valuables from a house in the area of Jaranwala police station.

According to the police, some armed bandits forced their entry into the house of Rana Muhammad Anwar at Alvi Park and took the entire family hostage at gunpoint.

They looted 15-tola golden ornaments, cash of Rs.50000/-, mobile phone, a gun (44-bore), a pistol (30-bore) and precious clothes etc. at gunpoint.

The police registered a case and started investigation. But no clue of the incident was traced out so far.
