Moon not sighted, 1st Safar on Tuesday

KARACHI: The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee has announced that the moon of Safar-ul-Muzaffar was not sighted across the country, hence the second Islamic month of 1433 Hijri, would fall on Tuesday December 27, Geo News reported.

The meeting of Ruet-e-Hilal Committee was held here under the chair of Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman.

Chairman Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman announced that the moon was not sighted and first Safar-ul-Muzaffar would fall on Tuesday December 27.
