PESHAWAR: The City police have started special crackdown against proclaimed offenders, car lifters & snatchers, kidnapping for ransom, murder and attempt to murder and arrested 95 outlaws including 31 proclaimed offenders in the offensive.
SP Rural, Abdul Kalam told APP that special crackdown has been launched against the outlaws under supervision of SSP Operation, Tahir Ayub and conducted raids on their suspected hideouts.
The accused were arrested from jurisdiction of different police stations in provincial capital. As many as 107 Kalashnikovs, 101 kalakoves, 15 pistols and three kilogram hashish were also seized from their custody.
He said the protection of life and property of people was the prime responsibility of police and no compromise would be made on law and order situation. He said crackdown against criminals would continue till they were brought under the clutches of law. (APP)
