Brother of MPA gunned down in Karachi

KARACHI: An in-charge of Jinnah Hospital’s pathology department Doctor Saleem Kharal was gunned down at Punjab Chowrangi in the metropolis, Geo news reported.

According to the Geo news report, the incident took place when unidentified bike riders opened fire at the car of Dr Saleem Kharal.

Dr Kharal is said to be a brother of PPP’s MPA Naeem Kharal and relative of AIG police Sharjeel Kharal.

According to the police, interrogation has been kicked off and initial reports indicated that it was a street crime incident.

Meanwhile, PPP leader Waqar Ahmad said that Chief Minister directed IG Sindh for interrogation.
