CIA police arrest five dacoits

LAHORE: CIA police smashed a dacoit gang and arrested its five members and seized Rs 300,000 in cash, one motorcycle, mobile phones and illegal weapons.

The arrested accused persons confessed to 17 incidents of house robbery, dacoity and other heinous crimes in different areas of the city and Sheikhupura during preliminary interrogation.

The allged members of Needi gang including ringleader Naveed, Babar, Ashfaq, Iqbal and Nasir were also proclaimed offenders in many heinous crimes. They also used police uniform.

The Punjab government had fixed Rs 200,000 head money on accused Nasir.
