MULTAN: The CNG stations owners and rikshaw/wagon drivers protested against the gas tariff hike and ban on use of CNG in commercial vehicles, Geo News reported.
The first day of New Year witnessed agitations on gas shortage despite tariff hike in various cities of the Punjab. The protests triggered by the severe gas crisis in the country's biggest province are spreading.
When the CNG stations owners gathered at the GTS chowk rikshaw, taxi and wagon drivers joined them. Traffic around Multan's Vehari chowk was blocked.
