Killer of a clerk held

MULTAN: Police have arrested the accused who allegedly opened fire and killed a booking clerk of Dawn Theatre here Wednesday night.

SP City Mian Javed told APP, that an unidentified armed man entered into Dawn Theatre at Haram Gate on last Wednesday night. He opened fire and killed the booking clerk of the Theatre namely Mehmood. He managed to escape safely from the scene.

SP Mian Javed disclosed that police have arrested the accused identified as Ghulam Ali and recovered pistol from his possession.

The police have registered a case and started investigation, he added. (APP)
