CJ SC inaugurates lawyers club

RAWALPINDI: Chief Justice of Pakistan Ifthikar Muhammad Chaudhary inaugurated lawyers club at district court here on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion Chief Justice iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhary said that under article 5 of the constitution every citizen is bound to work for the progress of the country. He said that a rule of conduct has been made under which no judge would be able to authenticate any unconstitutional step.

He said emergency will not be imposed in the country as the judges committed not to allow its imposition supremacy of constitution
need of hour,he added.

Chief Justice Lahore High Court Azmat Saeed Sheikh speaking on the occasion said that the problems of the litigants would be resolved when the judges and layers will use their services for them.

Earlier, the President Rawalpindi Bar Association Malik Jawad Khalid said that Bar and Bench were united for rule of law in the country.the
lyres community in the country but also worldover appreciated the
efforts of Chief Justice for supermecy of law and his struggle for
the restoration of the judiciary.

Among others Judge of the Supreme Court Arif Khilji, Supreme Court
Registrar Faqir Muhammad Khokar, Registrar Lahore High court Sohail
Nasir, High Court Judges Rawalpindi Bench Sagheer Ahmad Qadri, Sardar Tariq Masood, Chaudery Imtiaz, Rawalpindi District and Session Judge Nazir Ahmad, President Rawalpindi District Bar Assiciation Malik Jawad Khalid And Seniour Lawyers were present on the occasion. (APP)
