Hundreds of passengers stranded at Cantt station

KARACHI: Hundreds of passengers are stranded at Karachi Cantt Station due to delay in trains' departure to upcountry from the city, Geo News reported.

Khyber Mail, Tezgam and Karachi Express had to leave last night but passengers are still waiting for their departure. These trains had to leave at 10pm Friday night, 5am and 5:30am respectively.

Talking to Geo News, the annoyed passengers said they have been waiting for trains since last night in severe cold while the edibles were also consumed.

They complained that Railway officials were not providing them correct information about the departure of the respective trains.

Meanwhile, Railways officials said late arrival of trains has delayed their departure to the upcountry from the stations.
