LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami’s General Secretary, Liaquat Baloch, Saturday said that ‘memo’ was not just a piece of paper, it was a treaty to rob Pakistan of its sovereignty, Geo News reported.
In a statement issued here, Baloch said that an incompetent as well as corrupt government was trying to earn itself political martyrdom by putting the institutions on a collision course.
Demanding accountability for corruption and misappropriations during the last four long years, he said the nation expected that judiciary and army wouldn’t jump the constitution and do what was right.
