Don't forget your plea bargain, PM asks NRO opponents

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani on Tuesday said those raising a hue and cry over NRO must not forget their 'plea bargain' and spelled out People's Party's tradition of 'never to take pressure nor to bow', Geo News reported.

Addressing parliamentarians in Sargodha, the Prime Minister said the era of raising to power with help of 'crutches' had long gone and that '(real) parties are formed with honest people'.

"People's Party does politics of principles but others trade their principles for rising to power," he maintained.

The Prime Minister once again referred to the restoration of the Constitution as an achievement of the present government.
