Police arrest suspects

RAWALPINDI: City Police on Sunday arrested a suspected person with a ten-year old girl on recovery of 50 bullets and 30 bore pistol here.

According to Station House Officer (SHO) Gungmandi Police Station, a person identified as Gul Ahmed (22) with a girl was arrested from Fawara Chowk, Raja Bazaar as on body search, the bullets were recovered from girl.

Both the accused were shifted to the Police Station and further investigation is underway.

According to Police, they were trying to reach near the Chelum procession. City police have made strict security arrangements for Chelum procession. (APP)
