Doctors protest calls for safe recovery of colleague

LARKANA: Members of Pakistan Medical Association (PMA) Larkana, Chandka Teachers Association (CTA) Larkana and representatives of civil society here held a protest demonstration calling for safe recovery of allegedly kidnapped Dr. Abdul Rab Sangi and his driver, in front of Larkana Press Club on Tuesday.

President PMA Larkana Dr. Afsar Ali Bhutto, General Secretary Dr.Badaruddin Junejo, President CTA Larkana Dr. Akbar Soomro, Dr. Saeed Memon, Dr. Zulifqar Ali Rahujo led the protest.

While talking to media-men they said so far no electedrepresentative or responsible police officer has visited the protest camp of doctors to address their apprehensions.

They appealed to the authorities to take notice of the matter and initiate action for safe recovery of the kidnapped doctor and his driver. (AFP)
