LAHORE: Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday issued arrest warrants for three accused in Sri Lankan team's attack case, Geo News reported.

The court ordered SP Model Town to arrest the three accused and produce them before it on February 1.

Earlier, the trial court had released on bail six accused including Ubaidullah, Ashfaq and Amanullah. On this, the government approached LHC for cancellation of the bail.

The three accused, Ubaidullah, Ashfaq and Amanullah failed to appear before the court despite its orders. Taking action on this, LHC issued arrest warrants for the three.

The Sri Lankan cricket team came under attack on March 3, 2009, when a bus carrying the team was fired upon by 12 gunmen, near the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.
