PHP arrest 3 culprits, recover 40 litre oil, wood

LAHORE: The Punjab Highway Patrol have arrested three culprits and recovered 40,000 litre stolen and wood worth Rs 500,000.

The PHP officials received information that an oil tanker (C/2656) loaded with 40,000 litre stolen oil was being unloaded at local filling station, Machiky, Farooqabad. The PHP team rushed the place and apprehended a worker of petrol pump Bilal Ahmad who was shifting the oil whereas driver of the oil tanker fled the scene.

Meanwhile, the PHP team apprehended two persons, Murtaza Hassan and Zakir-ur-Rehman and recovered 25 pieces of stolen wood worth Rs 500,000.
