ISLAMABAD: Attorney General Maulvi Anwar-ul-Haq said Monday that an army officer had been appointed for Mansoor Ijaz’s security.

The attorney general added that if need be all forms of security would be provided to the US businessman.

Matters relating to Mansoor Ijaz had been decided upon in the judicial commission and arrangements have been made in accordance with the commission’s directives, Haq said.

The attorney general elaborated that Ijaz had been given assurance of his security in accordance with the constitution.
