Cashier of filling station killed during robbery

FAISALABAD: The robbers shot dead a cashier of a petrol pump on putting up resistance against robbery incident in the area of Sadar Faisalabad police station.

According to police, three motorcyclists robbers came at Attock Petroleum situated at Sitiana Road near Malkhanwala and tried to rob the cash from the petrol pump.

However, they fired and injured cashier Shaikh Nasir and his two helpers Irshad and Nasir when they put resistance during the dacoity.

The injured were rushed to hospital while Sheikh Nasir Javaid breathed his last in the way to hospital. The criminals after firing succeeded to escape from the scene.

Police have registered a case and started investigation. (APP)
