Condolence reference for late Akhtar Mirza held

QUETTA: Quetta Press Club on Wednesday held a condolence reference to pay tributes to late Akhtar Mirza, Resident Editor Daily Jang.

Addressing the reference, the speakers including senior journalist Anwar Sajidi, President Quetta Press Club Saleem Shahid, President Balochistan Union of Journalist Muhammad Essa Tareen, senior journalist Shehzada Zulfikaar and others paid rich tributes to late Akhtar Mirza and termed him a role model for the young journalists.

The speakers also highlighted the problems being faced by the journalists in Balochistan and stressed for effective strategy to counter and ensure good working conditions for media persons.

Akhtar Mirza had suffered a fatal heart attack and passed away. (APP)
