CNG closure from Thursday

FAISALABAD: All CNG stations in the district will be closed from Thursday, January 26.

The closure of CNG stations is the part of load management by the of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) to overcome the shortage of gas, a spokesman of the SNGPL said.

He said that gas supply will be suspended to all CNG stations of Faisalabad from 6:00 am on January 26 which would be continue till 10:00 pm on January 28.

On other hand, CNG Stations' Owners Association strongly protested against the closure of CNG stations in Faisalabad.

They said that this was not a way to overcome the gas shortage, adding the government should search for new reserves of coal and gas to meet the shortfall.

They demanded the government to exempt the CNG Stations from gas load management schedule. (APP)
