RAWALPINDI: An art and design exhibition, displaying creative work of the students of Foundation University Islamabad (FUI), continued at the Rawalpindi Arts Council (RAC).
More than 200 pieces of art and design work of 38 students were put on display at the exhibition will be showcased till 4th February. The main idea is to showcase the creative work for the people of twin cities.
Prof. Dr. Belal A. Khan, Rector FUI, was chief guest on the occasion. Various eminent artists, faculty members and art lovers from every walk of life visited the exhibition and praised the artistic work of the students. The students explored ideas using pencil, paper while others used many other mark making tools from computer to sculpture.
While appreciating innovative work of the youngsters, Dr. Belal A. Khan admired the faculty members for encouraging talented young artists and providing them an opportunity to portray their skills and instilling in them the spirit of innovation.
"We create stimulating environment for our students so as to get best out of them and develop in them competitive spirit artists and designers," he said. He also thanked the administration of Rawalpindi Art Council for providing a platform to the young talent.
