ISLAMABAD: The Chief Justice of Pakistan Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry on Monday said if the top ranking officials were forced to act against the rules, they would find the higher judiciary standing with them, Geo News reported.

The Chief Justice was addressing the officers undergoing training at Constable Institute of Management here.

He said every petition or complaint was heard without any discrimination and that it was the responsibility of the state to ensure protection of fundamental rights of the people.
