City Traffic police issued 62145 tickets

RAWALPINDI: The City Traffic police issued 62145 tickets for various traffic violations during the last month and recovered fine of Rs 1,28,07,500.

According to traffic police, the police impounded 1268 vehicles at different police stations of the city.

Many drivers involved in over speeding, rash driving and other charges were also arrested.

Chief Traffic Officer Ghulam Abbas Tarar urged the people to follow traffic rules.

He said that no one is above the law and strict action will be taken against the violators.
