LAHORE: A man who was recovered alive from the rubble of a collapsed drug company after 47 hours died here at a local hospital, Geo News reported.

According to details, a man named Ghulam Abbas was rescued after 47 hours and was shifted to hospital for treatment. He died in the hospital.

With the death of Ghulam Abbas, the death toll has climbed to 22.

Three-storey building of a pharmaceutical company collapsed due to boiler explosion on Monday morning. Three other houses alongside the building were also razed.

Police has registered the case against two brothers, Shaikh Zaheer and Shaikh Zafar, who are the owners of the factory and are still at large. However, factory manager Muneer was arrested.
